As the video designer / programmer / cinematographer / choreographer for a theater play, presented at CalArts Mod theater. Directed by Kobina Hagan, Zelia will design dynamic visual environments for a mythic narrative blending Yoruba and Greek cosmologies. The Half God of Rainfall written by Inua Ellams, audiences wfollows Demi, born to Modúpé—a mortal Nigerian woman—and the Greek god Zeus. Demi rises to global basketball fame, exploring power, myth, and reclaimed agency.

As guest artist / virtual dancer / media artist for integration of avatar, she worked on a new high-tech live performance integrating avatars and human dancers, choreographed by Kuik Swee Boon. Strangely Familiar, premiered at the East Kowloon Cultural Centre Opening and Asia+ Festival, touring next at the Singapore International Festival of Arts. with The Human Expression (T.H.E) Dance Company (Singapore).

The study of installation investigates proximity, mechanical response, and embodied perception through a responsive kinetic system. Distance sensors and motor-driven movement translate human presence into subtle shifts of motion, light, and rhythm, creating a real-time dialogue between the viewer’s body and a semi-autonomous mechanical spine. Blending physical materials with digital control, the work emphasizes fragility, anticipation, and feedback, inviting slowed attention and intimate engagement.

Light Weave

As projection mapping designer and initiator, animate the net, extending beyond its frame, reflecting the psychological journey of fragmentation and reassembly. Light Weave is a collaborative installation that merges sculpture and interactive projection to explore the entanglement between body, mind, labor, and technology. The installation crafted by Dar San Agustin, features a 7-foot hoop woven with yarn and repurposed plastic. When the body blurs into light, when boundaries dissolve—what’s left behind, and what begins to grow?

H.A.I

As the designer,​ with Paolo Sandejas and Jordan Wang in the H.A.I. project explores a wearable interface disguised as a hat. With two ultrasonic sensors on either side of the hat, simple hand motions near the head could either be used to control a modular vocal effect or a custom string instrument. "Head As Interface" maps gesture-based movement and sound, the head functions as both filter and generator for this instrument. This simple demo invites onlookers to discover a new means of expression with the H.A.I.

As the video designer & programmer & cinematographer, collaborated with Tramaine Raphael Gray and the creative team to create the visual experience integrated theatre play. The creative revolves around the underlying tensions and contradictions, particularly the way different characters interpret truth, morality, and betrayal. Scrip by Stephen Adly Guirgis. We woven shifting visual worlds to deepen the play’s spatial and mindful dialogues.

Unseen Portal

As the artistic programmer and designer, creating the Agave AR Experience. In a forgotten garden, a statue holds the secret to awakening life. Find four cards scattered around the sculpture, and with your phone, bring forth plant creatures that bloom and grow, transforming the ground into a thriving, magical ecosystem.
