Dance is artistic and technical. The environment is physical and psychological. A sphere can be between people and the world, a small universe.

The streets of strange cities are dangerous spaces. Every stranger passing by enters and then withdraws from other’s world. What is the action of neurons in the short docking of sight? What kind of interpersonal relationship has been created? Is some kind of empathy condensed?

Another concrete example: she practiced on uneven land, outside the Paris Museum of Technology and Industry, which imposed restrictions on the human body. Land is not deliberate, it is people who are in it and create restrictions on themselves. The process takes place under the control of technology. There are countless variations in technology and nature, between people and the world. The time and space, from limited to infinite, extend beyond.

ZZ did not escape from fear. She calls herself a Flaneur. She seeks her relationship with the world in multiple identities. She is Zelia ZZ TAN from Mainland China, living in Hong Kong now, but also a citizen of the World. She keeps reflecting, practicing and articulating new issues of dance in particular and art in general, on a daily basis. Her quest continues…
