I am thrilled to experiment with live motion capture with my team, at Dance and Technology Studio. I will presenting 1 academic sharing and 4 workshops for BFA & MFA students 2022 Jan-March.

Thanks to The School of Dance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, to invite me as Visiting Artist to research VR technology in dance making.

Are you curious about what the challenges are with mocap dance practice? How does motion capture redefine what our bodies are? What does it mean by you being captured by sensors? What causes the deformation of bodies when mapped in different software? Why and how to create the relationships between your physical body and your avatar?
